WITGBG’s pre-summer break afterwork (AW) at International House Gothenburg offered a wonderful opportunity to connect with our community members in an informal, intimate setting.

Our International Women’s Day event on May 5, 2026, was a resounding success. Under the theme "Leadership that works, now and next," we explored how to build inclusive organisations and high-impact careers in an era of rapid change.

The automotive industry is evolving rapidly. Not just in technology, but in its approach to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). At VECS 2025, our team came together to discuss the current state of DEI in tech and mobility. With sustainability and digitalisation reshaping the sector, our conversation focused on how diversity strengthens innovation and what steps companies within automotive can take to foster more inclusive workplaces.

IWD 2025 was our most impactful event yet, bringing together over 120 tech professionals for an afternoon of insightful discussions on leadership, inclusion, and career growth. As workplace cultures shift and DEI initiatives face setbacks, our speakers shared powerful perspectives on why this moment presents both challenges and opportunities. From reframing inclusion as a win-win to recognising the power of simply sharing experiences, this event reinforced that real change happens when communities unite.
