Rewrite the Code

A toolkit for an inclusive tech-industry

Rewrite the Code is initiated by Women in Tech Gothenburg to help drive positive change, create awareness, and offer inspiration and advice to make the tech industry more inclusive and innovative. Learn more about the project

How to use the toolkit?

This toolkit has several purposes.

It raises awareness about challenges in the tech sector and offers knowledge to identify and address discrimination and exclusion. It also helps create knowledge about unconscious bias or invisible norms to remove any individual shame about being excluded.

Ultimately, it is a tool to start driving change and help leaders, coworkers, and allies to create an inclusive tech industry where everyone can thrive and get the opportunity to contribute and impact society.

Toolkit

Is everyone's input equally valued in meetings?

Are the ergonomics of the office furniture and equipment taken into account?

Next step

This is a beta version as a starting point for further development. It will probably never be fully done, but a constant subject for change, improvements, and additions. As such, please give us input on how this is useful and what could be added. This started with the intention to be co-created by and for the industry, and we would love to keep it that way, welcoming all engagement and ideas.
